We've seen Bollywood actresses working for Bengali filmmakers like Buddhadeb Dasgupta and Rituparno Ghosh. Aishwarya Rai, Bipasha Basu, Riya Sen, Raima Sen, Konkona Sen, Soha Ali, etc. have all been doing that, so much so that it's become a status symbol of sorts! Reversing the trend, UTV has got Bengali superstar Rituparna Sengupta to Bollywood for its next production, 'Main, Meri Patni Aur Woh', being directed by Chandan Arora. The film also stars Rajpal Yadav and K.K., and is a co-production with Star TV. |
