Raveena Tandon is something else. Ever since she rediscovered herself, post her break-up with Akshay Kumar, she has got her life in complete control. From doing the right films to making the right films to being seen at the right places, not a single step is being taken without caution. And boy, is it paying. If Satta has put her up there with the best of performers, Stumped is placing her amongst the Smart Alec producers who dare to be different and yet have enough market savvy to plan and release the film at the right time. But all this work is not making Raveena a dull girl. She's having a blast. Take this last weekend itself. One moment she was flying into a wine festival in a chopper with a leading industrialist for company, the other moment, she was with Anjali Tendulkar (the master batsman's wife, no less) celebrating the start of the World Cup at her restaurant along with other cricket crazy special invitee celebrities. In fact, Raveena was the only star at the event. It was a huge bash and Raveena looked resplendent dressed casually as she was in black pants and a shirt. She looked completely at ease in the non-filmi crowd and looked like she was having great fun. And here, nobody even knew that she was friends with Anjali Tendulkar. Imagine... |
