The cast of 'Bardaasht' (which releases today) stands frustrated. None of them (Bobby Deol, Lara Dutta, Ritiesh, Tara Sharma and Rahul Dev) have been paid in full, for reasons best known to Galani. According to sources, Galani has been evading their calls as he was supposed to clear their dues on the release of the film. He has been citing financial distress and states that he will pay his actors when "all's well". In fact, Galani went to Dharmendra's house some days back and begged the veteran to convince Bobby to forego 50 lakhs worth of dues. The magnanimous Dharam-'paaji' agreed, and asked his younger son to pardon the errant producer (much to the latter's anger and frustration!). |
