For more than a year there has been no progress on 'Sahib, Biwi Aur Ghulam' being directed by Deepa Mehta ('Fire'). The film had been announced months before but the casting became an issue. Now, talk of the movie being revived has resurfaced.
It seems Ajay Devgan will play Bhootnath's character, which had made Guru Dutt immortal. (Vivek Oberoi was being considered earlier thanks to Aishwarya Rai's recommendation.) Aishwarya Rai, Sanjay Dutt and Kareena Kapoor have also been signed up for the production. Now let's wait to see when it finally kicks off!
