India's internationally renowned painter Maqbool Fida Hussain is now ready with his second flick, Meenaxi: A tale of three cities. In it the heroine Tabu will play three distinct women characters hailing from three different cities: Prague, Jaisalmer and Hyderabad.
However, there is bad news for Hussain fans as his next film starring Urmila Matondkar may well be his last. According to Hussain himself, " I am keen to make just one more film, a comedy, with an eye on Indian sensibility. I had started writing its script over a year back and I have thought about Urmila for the lead role." |
