This album written, composed & sung by Amruta is unique for several reasons. The album is not just a compilation of songs, but all the songs follow a sequence of events in a young girl's life. The album begins with the song 'Arman' about girl power, the feeling of liberation as a person leaves their teens & enters the 20s. 'Intezar' talks about the desire for love & companionship, the wait for someone special to enter her life.
Each song that follows relates to flow of emotions from the optimism that sooner or later, she will meet her prince charming until to the realization of that very dream. The promise ('Vaada') they make to each other to be together for each other and forever, but alas the bubble bursts and her dream world falls apart as her 'Bewafa' lover betrays her.
The first song 'Arman' has been made into a video already. It has been conceptualized by the highly acclaimed video film director Mahesh Mathai; the man behind the Lucky Ali's fame. |
