Ta Ra Rum Pum |
Next up is 'Nachle Ve', a mandatory Punjabi-bhangra based dance track that is present in almost all Yash Raj (filmy) music albums. It commences with a foot-tapping synthesized piece, 'dhol/dholak' beats galore. This track lives up to its title and is quite dance inducing. Sonu Nigam excels, as he always does. Sowmya Raoh tries hard to match his exuberance, but somehow doesn't seem to be comfortable. Thanks yet again to Javed Sahab for not putting us through too much unnecessary Punjabi, as the lyrics are in simple Hindi (rather Hindustani) that Indians all over the world speak.
'Ab to forever' is the club track that features the three talented singers, K. K., Shreya Ghoshal and Vishal Dadlani. Lovely electronic flute notes (which are present in the background too) and Vishal's always loved reggae interludes commence this hip-hop track.
The beauty of the track is that the tune keeps changing, so doesn't become monotonous. It is the sort of composition that music lovers expect from V-S after 'Dus Bahane' ('Dus'). Though not in the same league, it will be lapped up by the youth and will surely burn the dance floors at the discos and pubs.
