Pooja Bhatt's 'Fish Eye Network' and 'Shreya Creations' have given us some soulful, haunting and melodious music in the form of 'Jism', 'Paap' and 'Rog', which are still somewhat popular even today.
Pooja for her part can take the credit for giving the current heartthrob John Abraham his first major success by way of 'Jism'. This time however there are no Pakistani influences or artists, as Mahesh Bhatt's daughter Pooja has Ranjit Barot as the music director who has also sung two songs in 'Holiday'. And so without much delay let's checkout the album.
The first track - 'Khwahishon Se' is a stunningly beautiful, slow romantic number, blended to perfection with Afrikana and Indian rhythm/raagas. A unique composition indeed. Till now (by and large), we’ve had Indian music mixed with different languages but this cocktail is simply potent. Shreya Ghoshal with her excellent vocals and Ganjawala's rich and youthful voice complement each other and add to the song's value. The lyrics by Neelesh Misra are good, "Khwahishon se ye suna hai, Pyaar humko ho raha hai."
