A Still from 'Aashiq Banaya Aapne' |
The remixed version of 'Dilnashin Dilnashin' by Chetas just has a heightened and faster tempo, which makes the song pacier than the original version. Another ordinary remix.
We next encounter 'Dillagi Mein Jo Beet Jaye', featuring a host of singers namely Sonu Nigam, Shaan, Himesh, Jayesh Gandhi, Sunidhi and Vasundhra. But what waste of such a talented gathering! It is the most ordinary track of this otherwise really good album. 'Disco Dancer'/'Kasam Paida Karne Waale Ki' influences are evident especially at the start of the song. If that weren't enough, it is followed by a blatant copy of Karan Johar's Shah Rukh-Kajol super hit song 'Koi Mil Gaya' ('Kuch Kuch Hota Hai').
Himesh, very smartly (at least he must have thought that!) lifts from the 'antra' onwards. It is indeed a very disgusting thing to do and quite painful to point it out for an album that we have only praised so far. |
