The film itself is sightly different from others of film director Sooraj Barjatya. For instance, have you ever noticed that all of his previous films take place inside? This time however, Sooraj is stepping out of his element, so to speak, and taking his film outdoors. He's hoping that this leap of faith, coupled with the breathtaking scenery found in New Zealand and Mauritius, and a musical score not commonly found in Hindi films, will be his winning box-office ticket.
Regarding the music, Sooraj calls it a contemporary/western groove with few Indian instruments. In fact, he says, "Sanjana, I love you, is the most fast paced song ever shot." It sounds like choosing Anu Malik for the soundtrack's style will prove to be very interesting indeed.
And lets not forget the performances of Jaya, Reema, and Pankaj. They each will certainly add their own individual flair to this entertaining yet perplexing film. I'm curious to see how its all going to play out.
Who do you think will be the Prem whom Sanjana loves for eternity? Prem Hrithik or Prem Abhishek? You'll just have to wait until its June 27th release to find out if you're correct. |
