Kisna is a warrior, a poet, a lover. Kisna is INDIA. The epoch year 1947
sets the stage for a remarkable tale of an Indian warrior poet named
Kisna
(Vivek Oberoi) and the British girl he befriends and subsequently
protects, Katherine Beckett (Antonia Bernath).
With a delightful combination of both fact and fiction, Subhash Ghai
weaves a story, which takes place during the time when India is fighting
for her independence from Britain. Going against those in his own family
who have joined forces with other enraged nationalists, Kisna personally
accompanies Katherine to the British High Commission in New Delhi, where
she will be able to get a safe passage back home.
