There's a sudden fallout between the two women. Why? Revealing the answers to both the questions will spoil the fun of watching the film. For this is a must watch film!
We can just go on and on, praising the film. Every scene, every sequence is so good and well thought out! But the one that will stay in people's memories is the trio, Shreyas, Ayesha, and Gul, dancing to 'Kajra Re' on the desert sands. It's so cutely hilarious. Actually this is just one of the memorable scenes. The entire film is a different experience altogether that it will stay on in people's memories. The turnaround in Meera's character is so subtle and natural without the loud and unwanted melodrama. Everything about the film seems real.
Now for the performances. We mentioned Ayesha's performance in the beginning. She's put in a natural performance that only few actors of her generation are capable of.
Shreyas is a little loud at times but that's how his character is meant to be. After playing the deaf and mute guy in 'Iqbal', this one is a surprise from the fine performer. It's like discovering another facet to his character. He's a 'behrupiya' who entertains people and cons them in a way. The different characters and getup he dons, is hilarious. The most hilarious bit is when he imitates our Bollywood stars. He also displays intensity briefly in a few scenes. The best part about him is he tackles this role too with a lot of ease and conviction.
