Khosla Ka Ghosla |
K.K. Khosla (Anupam Kher) is nearing retirement and dreams of having his own house. He invests his entire life's savings in a plot of land to build his dream house, only to have it usurped by a corrupt and greedy Khurana (Boman Irani). The estate agent who sells them the land is hand-in-glove with him.
Both Khosla and Khurana are unbelievably good in the portrayal of their characters.
Initially, the Khosla family puts up a strong fight, but realize that Khurana is too powerful for this. One feels sorry for Khosla when he's put behind bars for trying to use force to get back his own land. So the Khosla family joins hands and with the help of a few people pull off a scam on him. This is the only filmy part in the film but who cares! All's fair in love and war!
There's also a parallel romantic track between theatre actress played by Tara Sharma, and Khosla's younger son, Cheronjilal aka Cherry (Parveen Dabas). It blends in perfectly with the rest of the film.
