His worst nightmare however, turns out to be his meeting with Trisha's father, Retired General Mallick (Sharat Saxena) aka Papa as Trisha would have him referred to. He hates the very sight of Sid and constantly tries to run him down. Finally there's an altercation between the two that results in Trisha walking out of Sid's life. Intermission!
Trisha gets back to her rich and successful ex-fiancé (Jas Arora).
The lovers meet in the end leading to a funny climax that goes with the wacky mood of the film.
The film has lots of funny sequences. One sequence that stands out is when the three dejected guys, Sid, his bro-in-law, Kapil (Aamir Bashir), and his nutty roommate cum
friend, Nanoo (Ranvir Sheorey), go to a disc. Sid is shocked by the kind of women who approach him, while Kapil is zapped when a gay propositions him, and the nutty Nanoo is desperately wooing two women on the dance floor to later get beaten up by the bouncers.
