Dharmesh Darshan has tried to make a light entertainer but one can say that he hasn't quite succeeded. The subject of the film is not a never-before attempted one but to give the director his due, he's tackled it in a slightly different way. The first half is fun with lots of light moments but the second half is a little boring with unwanted drama and forced comedy.
Anu (Priyanka Chopra), a London-based Indian, is living in Mumbai after her break-up with Danny (Dino Morea). Surprisingly, she lacks a firang accent! But she's forced to return to London for her stepsister, Shirani's (Amisha Patel) wedding. Shirani is getting married to a New York-based Gujju, Kunal Shah (Suniel Shetty). Surprisingly all the characters in the film lack a firang accent. In true filmi style, Danny is Kunal's best friend.
Anu plans to woo Danny back. She hires an escort, Aman (Akshaye Khanna), who all has to do is accompany her to the wedding as her new beau. This is to make Danny jealous. But there is a twist in the tale.
