The two stars are for Sanjay Dutt's performance in the film. He's the only reason for watching the film. The film deals with taking law into one's hands when everything else fails. In a way, it bears a slight resemblance to the recently released, 'Rang De Basanti'. But it has a happy ending unlike the other. But something has gone haywire somewhere in the film.
Ravi (Sanjay Dutt) is an extremely honest, helpful and good natured man. He works in an automobile company. His wife Saru (Amisha Patel) and young kid, Gaurav (Yash Pathak) mean the world to him. His son is crazy about cricket. One day he suddenly collapses while playing an important match. He is diagnosed as having a weak heart and his days are numbered unless he undergoes a heart transplant operation.
Ravi is asked to raise Rs. 15 lacs to save his son's life. Does this seem possible for a lower income group man? Ravi knocks every door for help but no luck. His love for his son suddenly forces him to take the law into his own hands. He holds people in the hospital hostage and threatens to kill them if his son is not operated on immediately.
