After a long time one is watching a no-sex film from the Bhatt stables. Indeed a fine film and worth a watch, not just for the content but also for the direction and performances. The film grips the viewers by sheer power of its content. No unwanted comic sequences or item numbers to lure viewers into the theatres. Of course, smooch specialist Emraan Hashmi does not let his audiences down! There's an intense smooch scene between him and the leading lady Kangana Raunwat but it's tastefully done and more importantly, it goes with the flow of the film.
Now for the story. It's the story of a dreaded gangster, Daya (Shiny Ahuja). More than his professional life, the focus is on his love life. That's what makes this film different from the other gangster films.
It's also a love triangle of sorts. Daya is on the move all the time but he loves Simran (Kangana) more than his own life. She has no choice but to live alone in Seoul waiting for his calls. His absence and the death of their adopted kid during a shootout, makes her feel low most of the times.
