There is a gradual buildup of the story. Direction and scripting is great except in the last 15 minutes of the film where the sequence of events start getting predictable. Himesh Reshammiya's music is excellent. 'Jhalak Dikhlaja' and 'Lagi Lagi Lagi' are superb. 'Mohabbat Ki Guzarish' is good but seems wasted because it comes after the film is over.
Emraan Hashmi fits the character but is getting repetitive. Dino Morea is okay. Udita Goswami is superb. She seems to have come a long way since 'Paap. She still needs to brush up her acting skills but in the looks and body department, she is excellent. Her skin show and body language is tasteful. Suresh Menon is irritating, especially in the first few scenes. Tara Sharma in a special appearance is quite a surprise. On the whole, 'Aksar' is an entertainer with no pretensions.
