Must say that Hindi films are getting bolder! This is no old-fashioned formula film where good wins over evil. If 'Murder' brought extra-marital affairs back to the screen, 'Aksar' is a step ahead. While the former showed a woman cheating behind her husband's back, this one is right in the husband's face sorts.
This shows the Indian woman coming into her own. But let's get one thing sorted out. This concept may jell with the metro audience but is a definite no-no in the interiors. Add to the open extra-marital affair, the angle of the rich NRI husband hiring a Casanova to make his wife fall in love with him. The suspense element that has been thrown into the second half of the film is good except that it gets quite predictable after a while.
Ricky (Emraan Hashmi) is a talented fashion photographer, who like most in his profession, believes in having an affair with the women he shoots. Sheena (Udita Goswami), is a hot looking face that Ricky has been trying to shoot for a while. One day out of the blue he gets a call from her asking him to meet her.
