Does all this hold your attention? Obviously not! The biggest flaw of the film is that there are far too many characters who have no relevance to the plot. To top it all, there are Bollywood actors like Naseeruddin Shah, Sunil Shetty, Abhishek Bachchan, Ritesh Deshmukh who make 10 second appearances in the film (we wonder why!).
The screenplay is bad. It does not move the story ahead at all. Bad dialogues too. Besides, the film looks more like a play with almost everything happening in Sunny's house. There are very few scenes elsewhere. You end up feeling nothing at all for anyone except Michael who touches a chord somewhere deep within. He's the only real memorable character in the film. Vishal-Shekhar's music is lackluster. The rest is better left unsaid.
Now for the performances. Viveik Oberoi goes slightly over the top in a few places. Ayesha Takia is okay and is quite natural in some scenes. But she has to do something about her wardrobe. It needs major revamping. We wonder what prompted Mahima Chaudhary to play Maya. Juhi Chawla and Arif Zakaria are wasted. No hopes for this film at the box-office!
