Emraan Hashmi could draw the audience to the theatre with the promise of long smooches and intense lovemaking scenes that have become his USP. But there is only the title track, 'Aashiq Banaya Aapne' that has these elements. However, we have to add that this track has been tastefully and aesthetically shot. The song is the highlight of the film. Otherwise the film leaves you cold and untouched!

There is a love triangle as is evident from the cast and promos but there's no life to it. There's also a 'kahani mein twist' but it has been portrayed in the most ineffective manner.

Karan (Sonu Sood) is Sneha's (Tanushree Dutta) close friend and is also in love with her. But he can never confess his love to her so becomes the silent lover.
