“Look Pa, what you have done to me!” This is what a good son would have asked his very good father after seeing the ready-for-release version of Kaise Kahoon Ke Pyaar Hai. The son and father duo in question is of Amit and Arjun Hingorani, obviously.
Firstly, even before we try to learn more about something called story, a question has to be asked: Why this film has a title like this? We have no answer except to say that, “Oh yeah, there’s a song that has a line going with these words…that’s it.” KKKPH is a story of Karan (Amit Hingorani) and his lion-hearted father Dharam (Dharmendra). Like Shahenshah of Tinu Anand and listless characters of that type, Arjun is a man who robs rich and helps poor. The son follows father’s footsteps until one day when the latter is killed by a cop Arjun Singh (Sunny Deol).
After passing two years in jail, the refreshed and recharged Karan is determined to start afresh and even gets a job from Somnath (Alok Nath), who is, incidentally, the father of his love interest Priya (Sharbani Mukherjee). Soon, Karan learns that he is on the verge of death and so, instead of running his heart cleaning laundry any more, he shifts backs to his original activity. And…
