Naina is a workaholic and a nurse by profession. She works as a receptionist cum telephone operator cum secretary in Samir's clinic. She is in love with him but never tells him. She has no life of her own and is makes sure that he keeps his appointments with his patients and girlfriends.
There's trouble brewing in Dr. Samir's life as his latest love, Sonia, accepts him despite his marital status. There are a couple of attempts to kill herself too when she gets frustrated at the hopeless nature of her love.
Enters knight in shining armour, the friendly but nosy neighbour, Pyaare (Sohail Khan), a struggling actor. The problem arises when Samir realizes that he has fallen in love with Sonia and asks her to marry him.
Of course, he tells her that he will divorce his wife. But she has one condition: She will marry him only after she has met his wife! Now he is stuck! This leads to a lie followed by many more! Adding to the confusion is Samir's brash mother (Bina Kak), who has a penchant for slapping people before starting a conversation. There is also Samir's friend Vicky (Arshad Warsi) and a silly patient Thapa (Rajpal Yadav). |
