This one sure will warm the cockles of one's heart. This family entertainer looks set to be a winner during the vacation season. It is a strange brief love story between a junkie, Maya (Esha Deol), and an autistic Neil (Ajay Devgan). He has the mental makeup of a 7-year-old. They have a baby together after which she deserts both father and child.

She is a confused teenager who has always been deprived of love. Probably she could not handle all the love in her life now. A heartbroken Neil finds solace in his tiny daughter and brings her up with a lot of love. There are a lot of cute, funny moments between father and daughter. There is also a Renu Didi (Lillete Dubey) who is a pillar of strength to the two. Neil also has a kind employer and a couple of loyal friends. Neil is a lovable character and also very loving.

One day, out of the blue, Maya's father (Anupam Kher) decides to pop in from London to gain custody of Maya's daughter. Don't know if the law permits this but how on earth can a man walk into someone's house and demand custody of his unwedded daughter's child after so many years. Anyway, he manages to bring a lot of grief into the father and daughter's lives by separating them. The child in now in the custody of the court till the court proceedings. A harrowed Neil and his friends get in touch with the best lawyer in town, Nidhi Khanna.
