Ajay Devgan overshadows everybody in 'Tango Charlie' |
Yet another film that completely belongs to Ajay Devgan. He carries the film on his shoulders and delivers a brilliant understated performance as usual. Bobby Deol is better than usual. He is good in the comic sequences. Sanjay Dutt and Suniel Shetty are likeable in their small but significant roles for providing their brand of comic relief.
The two leading ladies, Tanishaa and Nandana Sen, have nothing much to do in this male-dominated film. Tanishaa leaves a lot to be desired as usual in all departments. Nandana Sen trying to Indianize herself is stupid. She too has decided to resort to the skin show, that's if anyone is really interested!
Of the supporting cast, Kelly Dorji stands out. He makes a great impact. Don't be surprised if this heralds the entry of a new screen villain. Mukesh Tiwari is wasted. Sudesh Berry, and Shahbaaz Khan are okay. Alok Nath and Tiku Talsania are their usual selves. On the whole, 'Tango Charlie' is decent. It may work at the box-office not only for its star cast but also for the lack of a good film since weeks.
