A Still from 'Tango Charlie' |
They carry out a rescue operation despite a 'No-Go' owing to bad weather. The basic first-aid is carried out and a diary is discovered. This takes them on a tour across the nation with Sepoy Tarun Chauhan (Bobby Deol) whose code name is Tango Charlie. Thus the name of the film as it covers Tarun's journey through life, his love Lachchi (Tanishaa), his battles, his fears, and the influence of his mentor, Mohammed Ali (Ajay Devgan) on his life.
So that way the film is unique. The film has some well-executed action sequences especially in the first half. Mani Shankar's handling of the subject deserves credit, but how one wishes he hadn't faltered in the second half. Despite his 'Rudraksh', one expected a lot from the director of '16th December!
Music of the film is no great shakes except for 'Akkad De Bakkad De'. It has a good beat. Cinematography by Surendra Reddy is good. |
