The two stars are for the look of the film. It would be no exaggeration to say that the film is extremely boring fare, and with scenes that are repetitive. The only memorable scene is the gruesome murder in the beginning of the film. After that it is one long dragging film that you wished you hadn't sat through.

Now for the story (?). It is an old-fashioned plot. There is a contract killer, John (John Abraham), and his loving wife, Shalini (Priyanka Chopra). He loves her to death and so does she. She is aware of his profession but love is blind like we all know. So she turns a blind eye and carries on loving him. She is a dancer in a night club.

John works for Captain (Bharat Dabholkar), who has the body but lacks the menacing face to strike terror in people. One day, John ends up killing an entire family, except for a 7-year-old girl. As he stares into the eyes of her sister, who is slowly breathing her last in his arms, he realizes the gravity of the situation and decides to quit the profession.
