There is a sense of déjà vu about Vikram Bhatt's 'Jurm'. It brings to mind two films; 'Humraaz' and 'Fida'. The best part is that in this film, like in 'Humraaz', Bobby Deol as Avinash Malhotra, the wronged husband, is at the receiving end. We wonder why! Even he seems to be wondering the same if his 'why me' expression is anything to go by.
The 'Humraaz' bit is a 'madly in love couple' where the boyfriend as usual convinces his girl into trapping a business tycoon (Avinash Malhotra) into marrying her, to ensure a better future for themselves. As most girls in love do, the girl agrees to play along. The lovers are Milind Soman (Rohit) and Lara Dutta (Sanjana).
To make matters worse, Rohit is Avinash's close pal and also his legal advisor. Bobby is even framed for his wife's (Sanjana) murder (obviously which never happened in the first place).
