The one star is for Aishwarya’s look in the film. That is the only thing that is worth the price of your ticket. Ash has never looked so hot or gorgeous on screen before. Don’t know whether it is her director or stylist who should be credited for that. The film tries hard to be different and contemporary but has only ended up leaving the audience confused. You could call it a sort of love triangle, but after watching the film you are bound to disagree.
Shaukat (Sanjay Dutt) is a writer, whose previous novel has come in for a lot of flak from critics. He coaxes and encourages his beautiful and sensitive wife, Antra (Aishwarya Rai), to have an extra-marital affair with her colleague, Yash (Zayed Khan). One is bound to jump to wild conclusions. No, no, no, it’s not like he’s just discovered that he has lost his virility. It’s just that he is suffering from a writer’s block and needs fresh ideas. So he needs some real life inputs. And the wife is a willing party to it. Already sounds very sleazy! Imagine what the viewer has gone through till now!
