'Rok Sako To Rok Lo' is a rip-off of the Aamir Khan starrer, 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander". The only difference is that Yash doesn't possess Aamir's charisma. The film is a war of classes; the rich and poor. Dev (Yash), Suhana (Manjari), Ganguly, Bhajji, Venky and Rati are in their final year at the Bharti School. Doesn’t it sound modest? The five are great friends and live a carefree life without a worry about their future. Then there is the rich boy, Ranveer (Carran Kapur) from the elitist Valley High School. He has all the luxuries most youngsters his age crave for. So that obviously makes him a spoilt brat. He also manages to intimidate poor Dev and his friends with his money power.
Suddenly, from nowhere comes their messiah, Kabir (Sunny Deol), who is referred to as Phantom. No wonder he is introduced as the 'Inspirational Appearance.' But if students start having school dropouts strutting around on Harley Davidson bikes as role models, we can't help but feel sorry for them. We also dread to think of the erosion of their value system. Surprising that this film is the work of a professor!
